Selecting the star rating definitely helps! For me, reading reviews for the potential star rating you're thinking about before actually bidding helps me out a ton also. Because a 3-star hotel in one city can be a 4-star hotel in another so it can really vary on the "type" of hotel you're getting! I've used it for booking hotels numerous times and they've always come through on a great hotel for a great rate.
