Not in front of my doctor, but I cried in front of the LDR nurses (who I work with because I work in NICU) when Sawyer had a bad heart rate drop during labour, and once we decided to do an emergency c-section.

Yep I was a blubbering mess in her office. I had a 2 month old and they told me I was 6 weeks pregnant with twins. I was crying for like 20 minutes. They just let me process it and checked on me throughout the time. After wards I was Pretty embarrassed

Yep. I was very emotional toward the end of my pregnancy and I started crying when I started telling her how down I was about still being pregnant. I was having a lot of anxiety about the fact I had no control over when baby arrived, and I basically broke down. Fortunately, my OB and I are of the same faith and she would pray for me at our appointments. I also cried in front of her during my delivery (when she was stitching me up), and then at my two week PP visit when we were talking about the joys of motherhood. My DH has also cried in front of her too! I am sure she sees it a lot....

I was a wreck at LO's first pediatrician appointment. I had had an unplanned csection and baby and I had been in the hospital for 4 days with an IV for antibiotics bc I had a fever during the process and my milk hadn't come in and I thought she had a neurological problem bc she would shake her head when trying to latch...it was all due to her being hungry bc my milk hadn't come in and she had lost too much weight...I was seriously a wreck and just shaking and crying and could barely speak without my voice breaking. It was the most emotional time in my life. Our pediatrician is so great and I feel so bonded to her for being so confident and calm during that time. At the next appointment 2 days later she commented that I seemed like a new person.

I cried in front of the home health care nurse. LO had jaundice so the nurse came over every morning to check her, take blood etc... that first week my hormones were all over the place and i would tear up easily. I tried to hold back the tears but seeing my baby poked with a needed everymorning was too much for me.

I cried at my 40 wk appt the day she induced me. I'd been up for 3 days w painful contractions that would stop in the morning. That morning they'd gotten to 3 min apart so I thought it was go time, until we got in the car and they stopped again. I had a scheduled appt with her anyway and when she walked in and asked how I was I lost it. We decided to induce before I got too fatigued for labor.

Yup. I told my OB I gained too much weight and then she gave me a hard time about it! I cried. It was a 5 tissue cry.

I did at about 2 weeks pp when I admitted to her that I thought I had PPD. I broke down and sobbed in her office for about an hour while she talked me off the ledge.

I cried in front of my OB when I miscarried of course. And during many of the follow up apts after that.

I cried to my pediatrician when I stopped breastfeeding. That was my most embarrassing cry. I'm sure he gets it all the time from crazy new moms, but it was bad.

At the follow up appointment after birth I told my doctor "I don't think I'm adjusting very well" and burst into tears. I then got sent to talk to someone and was diagnosed with PPD. It's nothing to be ashamed of! I also got a little teary eyed at an early appointment this pregnancy because I was just so tired and stressed out. The midwife was like "No no no it's totally ok this happens all day long here!"

I wasn't expecting an u/s at my first appointment (@ 8 weeks). So, when I saw butterbean and her tiny beating heart tears rolled down my face. I was both overwhelmingly happy and sad, because DH was not with me at the appointment. There was a student shadowing the NP performing the u/s, and she teared up too.

Yup. I had a prior miscarriage and some scary complications at the beginning of this pregnancy. I've cried in front of half the doctors in my practice!! I never feel embarrassed though. People who work with pregnant women probably see a LOT of tears.

I was so surprised this happened to me today! I am just glad I didn't start bawling, but I did get kind of choked up. This was at my 7 month appointment. He asked how I was doing and I just mentioned the last few weeks have been kind of rough, heartburn worse, acid reflux, harder time breathing. As I was laying down to get measured, he prodded my ankle and noticed the swelling and I nearly lost it! I know I shouldn't be embarrassed but I totally was.
