We were outed by my husbands coworker. It was a work function and he kept on making comments on how I wasn't drinking much, I told them I was on antibiotics but he kept pushing. We told him we were going to go bike riding and he goes "are you sure you can do that in your condition?" His wife kept shushing him. Mind you this was a weeklong trip of him making these comments infront of everyone. What was frustrating was that there were several others not drinking but I was the one singled out which made everyone suspicious. When my husband announced the pregnancy at work several months later the guy apologized over and over.

My sister. We were all over at my dads for Father's Day a few years ago. As soon as I saw her I knew! I walked up to her and quietly said 'so when are you due?' She got flustered and said 'I'm not pregnant!' I called her bluff and walked away. 5 mins later she came over to me and said 'don't tell anyone!' She was going to tell everyone they were expecting that day, but DH and I just got engaged and didn't want to overshadow us by announcing.

Yes because she had a special kiddie cup from the bar without vodka and I called her on it. She was good natured about it :)

I actually do know someone who is secretly pregnant (I was the second person she told, after her DH!) but I'm confident I can keep that secret. The time I'm talking about I had no idea anyone was pregnant, I was just making a joke and whoops! I was right that the next one was already preg :)

Yes! Friend A told me she was pregnant as soon as she got her bfp. I accidentally told mutual Friend B around week 11 or 12 by implying she was pregnant because I forgot it wasn't public knowledge yet. I felt terrible!

No and I have to be really careful right now because I know about two secret pregnancies! One of my friends did out me to one of my co-workers accidentally, but I didn't really care because he was already suspicious of the dr appointments and I was being pretty casual about it around the office at that point.

I did once and still feel so bad about it. It was about 9 years ago and I just didn't think about the implications. A good friend was a bridesmaid in another friend's wedding, so she was wearing a strapless dress. I commented to my sister and then later to her that her boobs looked big, was she pregnant? She was and couldn't hide her answer because she was so surprised I asked. Her (approx 8 yo) daughter was nearby and almost heard us. Yikes! I learned my lesson and now would never ask, even a dear friend, if she is PG!

With another friend, our whole group helped to "out" her. We were talking about babies. Since no one had a baby yet, it was a little out of character for us. She and her DH left the room but no one really noticed. They came back and announced their pregnancy, saying they just couldn't keep a secret with all the baby talk.

Nope. I don't really notice until they show. And even then, I don't like to point out cuz what if they aren't! Especially since women who just gave birth can also look very pregnant still.

I kind of sort of did by accident.

A bunch of friends with babies got together, and since there are so many babies among our group of friends, so close in age, I made a joke that someone must already be pregnant with the next one. I saw one couple exchange a very telling look, but I didn't want to make them awkward so I tried to cover it up and move on (but I'm so not subtle). Luckily they were planning on telling us then anyway and I provided a nice opening :)
