We went to LA last year (our friend lives in LA, so it technically wasn't "destination" for them). And the year before we went to Kauaii for another friend's wedding. A group of about 8 friends all went, so we made a vacation out of it and had a group vacation for a week! Her dh is Australian, they met in eastern Europe and then had a long distance relationship for awhile where they'd meet in places like China and travel together. Their whole relationship was traveling. They had two weddings, one in our home town and one in Ny where she lives.
