We saw women's basketball - I think it was China vs. Brazil? Something like that. And then we got tickets to synchronized swimming team finals, which was AWESOME - I was a synchronized swimmer, so I was sooooo excited to be able to see that! We also scored tickets to the Gymnastics Gala, which is kind of a gymnastics free-for-all after all the competition ends. It was SO.COOL. We got to see all the gymnasts just go out on the equipment and do their routines or do just random fun stuff. Amazing. My mom bought the tickets for synchro and the gala from a scalper on the street, ha! We had the two weeks of the Olympics off school, so i went to a ton of events! It was so fun! I also worked in food service at the venues, so during breaks i could sneak out and see what was going on, including a few gold medal runs. I LOVED IT! It was a little different experience going to work rather than just to watch, but I got to enjoy a good amounts of events (while also working 12+ hour days for 20 straight days.) I would love to attend a Games on US soil and/or experience it with hubs and the kids.
