Though, I haven't been to AC in a while. Especially after that one storm.. It was so sad to see pics of the roller coaster in the ocean. Have fun in AC this year and Vegas next year! When I was a kid, my parents used to leave us on the AC beach, while they went to gamble. Gambling isn't my thing though but there are some good restaurants and shopping. We stayed at the Chelsea, no casino inside but it's right on the boardwalk close to everything. The Chelsea hotel and Revel are great and usually have Groupon-type deals happening. Plus, AC and Vegas have very different feels IMO. It might be a bit cold to hang out on the broadwalk... I haven't been there in a while but I know they keep adding stuff. My SIL, who will be down from Boston, just texted asking if I had any interest in spending a day in AC for my birthday. We're tentatively planning a Vegas trip with my SsIL (and D and BsIL, I guess) for my 30th birthday NEXT year, so I'm trying to decide whether it would be overkill to do the gambling thing this year too, or if would be like....a really early appetizer :) It's been years since I was done that way...last time I remember going I went on this awesome bungee cage-ball thing on the boardwalk. That would be fun to do again!
