But it was the middle of the night, I had to get up early and it was super loud even w/earplugs and a pillow over my head. In my university days I worked a job where I had to be up at 5am. I called once when there was a brawl at a party outside & DH had gone to talk to them & someone pulled a knife on him. We dont live in the best neighborhood :/ the police are usually in the area anyway because we have a few bars & clubs on the street next to ours so you can usually find one & flag them down if there's an issue. After I graduated college I still lived near campus for a few years. I quickly turned into an old lady and had to call the cops a few times on a few ragers. When I lived in condo buildings in the city I gave my neighbors until 2 am; living in the suburbs I give them until midnight. Except the one annoying neighbor who brings speakers outside even in the dead of winter - I call the cops on him at 10. In college my neighbors threw parties every night. It wouldn't have been so bad if people weren't jumping on our balcony and generally raising hell from about 11pm to 4-5am. They stole our grill off the balcony one night.... And it was a large grill! I also called the cops on our neighbor's daughter at our old place. We lived in a very densely populated area. I can't sleep as it is and I have a haircut at. 9 am tomorrow so I have to get up around 7:30 to eat and test my blood sugar before I leave so I'm really aggravated! It's not even too late here - 10ish - but now they're setting off fireworks. My aggravation is making me feel old!
