My DH says I did. It isn't anything epic or amazing. When we first started talking he was seriously hung over everyday and partying all night. He didn't have a job and was living with his buddies and just wasn't doing well. Well I could have easily just moved on to the next guy, cause I don't drink and don't really party but I really liked him.

Well not even 6 months later somehow I convinced him to move closer to me. He has been sober more than a year, has an amazing job, bought his first car, bought a home and got rid of the horrible 24/7 heartburn he had from drinking and throwing it all back up. Not too amazing lol.

I just finished watching Season 2 of Luther, and the main detective in it ends up completely changing the course of this one girl's life. It was pretty striking, because she started off the season as a basically an indentured sex worker.

That got me thinking: wow, he really changed the course of her life! And not because of chance or because he introduced her to someone and they got married or something... but because he really went out of his way to help her and to turn her life around. And she did.

Have you ever changed the course of someone's life like that?
