One in college, and one last year. I cut the college friend out abruptly, and the other was a slow fade-out. That one was sad because she had been a friend since we were little kids! The funny thing is DH is good friends with her little sisters husband so now we couple hang out with her sister. I still see her on occasion at events for said couple friends and we're polite but not close. I couldn't support her relationship any longer. We'd been "friends" since we were in elementary school, but she'd become one of those people you are only friends with because you've known them for so long, not because you actually like them! I distanced myself an entire yarn store where I went for Wednesday night knitting because it proved to toxic during my pregnancy.
