We had to bag up all by bedding, throw out my hair brushes and hair accessories, wash my hair in some special treatment shampoo daily, and use the nit brush several times a day. I wasn't allowed to go out with friends to parties and sleepovers. There was once a student who had it in my classroom but somehow the other kids didn't get it. I haven't ever dealt with lice myself or know of anyone who had it growing up. I'm really hoping my kids don't ever get it. DH had the day off work so he went and picked her up early and will be checking her scalp. I heard it transmits easier these days because kids are taking selfies together! Gah! Have you ever dealt with lice before? I am really hoping we do not get it.
