I still remember we were walking down the front steps (already outside!) and she came out and confronted us, the three of us turned around, in shock mind you, but we told her exactly why! Like I said, we normally leave good tips but she honestly didn't deserve the tip we gave her, if any! She didn't have anything to say and turned around and went back inside! But guess what, one of the idiot girls left her purse in the booth! Within an hour a cop was knocking on her door. Her dad brought her and her friends back to the restaurant where the cop asked the manager if she wanted to press charges. She initially said no. I was a waitress so I'm pretty conscious about it.<br /> When I was in school we went to dinner with a bunch of students once a week, nothing fancy, well the first time I brought my now husband it was only guys and me(usually it was about 50/50). Each of the guys ended up leaving pretty quick after eating (probably because they knew me and my now hubby really wanted to be on a date but were too shy) but none of them paid! Only because there have been sometimes where I had bad service on top of the waitress/waiter taking FOREVER to bring the check and not checking in with us.</p> <p>On a side note....I went to a restaurant once with a friend and her husband and we had horrible service, the lady hardly came to check on us, it took 15 minutes to get out drinks, then another 10 just to order. We finally got out food and were too afraid to get dessert so we got some to go and it STILL took forever to just get it in a to go box! We both normally leave very generous tips but this time we didn't. As we were leaving the waitress FOLLOWED us out of the restaurant and wanted to know why we left her such a bad tip!!! OMG, can they even DO that?!
