It's usually when I am working and the parent's are in the middle of a business transaction. They don't want to interrupt the flow and typically I have already been playing with the kid in the waiting area. So both parent and kid are comfortable with me. I do whatever it takes to get the parent out of the way so I can get back to my sales call. I don't want to invade anyone's space and I know there are times where I'm DYING for everyone to leave me alone and not even look at me. I have held things patiently for parents while they get whatever else they are doing altogether. I have helped load groceries in the car- for moms &amp; seniors. Nothing extravagant though. </p> <p>I was in a store once and saw a newer mom than me toting around her little girl. She left her diaper bag in the car because her husband was on a business call and she was just going to walk around for a few minutes (so I later found out). As I was walking by her little girl spit up all over her shoulder. She was looking a little embarrassed and had nothing to clean it up so I offered her a wet wipe.
