It was so much fun!</p> <p>We moved from WA to ME when I was 14, so literally drove across the entire US. I will definitely still do this when DH and I have kids! We hate flying so much that I will do anythign possible to avoid it. We spent almost a month on our trip, and it was really fun. We went from FL to Colorado and back. We brought a pup tent and camped for most of it. It was so much fun, we stopped at all the touristy places like the world's largest cow. Some summers I felt like we just lived in our station wagon. No RV... That would be awesome though. My friend's parents retired early and did that.
