Yea, it was horrifying! Fell on pavement when my first LO was maybe a month old? My knee was a bloody bruised mess!

I slipped on ice while wearing my 3 month old on my front. I didn't fall, but nearly did and it scared me. I didn't go outside for a while after that because we had bad winter weather.

Not while baby wearing, but I was cradling my 2 week old with one arm when I slipped on the stairs and took a nasty spill on my back. I ended up going to the ER for x rays, the doc there said as long as I was cradling him and he has been acting normal, not to worry.

During the last eighth of a mile of a two mile hike today, I caught a patch of mud in a grassy field and went down on my back. Luckily I had been wearing DD on my front. She had been napping when I fell... so when we hit the ground she fussed because she woke up then fell back asleep after a minute or two. She has been acting 100% normal the rest of the day so I know she is fine. I have a busted lip since her head pushed my lip into my teeth and a pulled shoulder muscle. I am an avid hiker and this was just a complete fluke. I probably won't hike after the rain until DD is big enough to walk herself.

Anyone else ever take a fall while babywearing?
