The puking was the worst, the while fam started puking within an hour of each other. My mom came to help with DD while DH and I were at our worst. DS1 had strep, DS2 had RSV (and was hospitalized, he was under a month at the time), and DH and myself both had colds, all at the same time. The last few weeks she's had a bad cold and ear infection and a virus, and I've had a sinus infection from the cold I caught from her. It's been brutal. It was literally DH the first day, then me, then LO. Horrible. We've had other times when either me or DH has been sick with the same thing as LO (stomach viruses mostly, ick), but at least those times, there was one parent who managed to stay well while LO was sick. Phew! That was pretty nasty. The worst part was trying to control the fevers and making sure we stayed on a schedule for Tylenol/Advil because the fevers would come back with a vengeance if we got off schedule. Plus the sore throats didn't help either, of course! DH had just returned from a week long business trip and had to immediately drop his bags and play nurse for us. Bless him! Now the hard part is remembering to finish our courses of antibiotics for the full 10 days now that we are both feeling better.
