Colace, Prep H wipes, and tons of Dermoplast. I had them post-partum and it was horrendous.

I had them big time after delivery. Definitely a stool softener, a sitz bath, witch hazel pads. Also, when you wipe, I always moisten the toilet paper. Dry toilet paper makes it worse. If they're pretty painful, I recommend asking your doctor for a lidocaine cream. It. Is. Awesome.

Prep H suppositories, magnesium (EVERYONE who struggles with regularity needs this), and 15g of fiber daily. Cured me, and mine were bad.

Yep, toward the end of pregnancy with LO2 and after delivery. They went away at about 6 weeks pp. Tucks, Prep H, and drinking lots of water helped.

I had them after pregnancy too. They got better when I was sitting less. There's also a cream that helps, but I forgot the name...

Yep, after pregnancy. I used Tucks and Prep H. I had it so bad at 6 weeks postpartum that I had some prescribed suppositories to get them reduced. I'm totally expecting them once this guy arrives.

I had them bad after delivery. My nurse told me to take a tucks pad and fold it in half. Then put a line of preparation H on the fold, and then leave it between your cheeks, with the fold/preparation H facing in against the hemorrhoids. Sounds gross but it really did help.

Yep - after both pregnancies! :( Colace (a stool softener) helps.

I don't have them but someone I know does. Any tips on what to use/how to self medicate w/o seeing a doctor?
