It took effect in maybe 30-60 seconds each time. It wasn't like a laxative or anything though; what came out seemed "normal." if that makes sense.</p> <p>I think adult suppositories usually are designed to dissolve inside of you from body heat. I only ever had one administered, when I was in Japan (man, they love suppositories in Japan!).
