I got back from my flight at like 11pm and spent an hour wandering around the parking lot alone searching for my car. I finally found a cop & he called & found out that it'd been impounded so I had to call & wake up my roommate to come pick me up and didn't get home until 3am! Then we spent the next day running around trying to get everything set so my car could be released. It was my own fault because I'd let the tabs expire and it took multiple trips to the impound lot, DMV, and police station before I got to drive my car home. I had my car parked at a friend's apartment complex and ran inside to drop something off, 15 minutes later my car was gone! I’ve had my car towed due to early snow parking bans twice, and also had my car booted once because I neglected to pay a parking ticket (oops).
