Kinda<br /> I am a pt nanny and have been with the family for 2.5 years. I was engaged when I started with them, and their parenting styles were soo different than anything I'd ever seen. They coslept, breastfed their 2.5 yr old, she was already potty trained, and was the most well-behaved, respectful little girl i'd ever met- so I knew they were doing something right!</p> <p>I got pregnant after being with them 1.5 yrs and immediately started reading the same books they had followed, I came to decide on basically all the same parenting choices they did- especially after seeing first hand how well their now 5 yo daughter turned out. </p> <p>I still work for them and it's the perfect situation. The mom is quite a bit older than me (she had kids in her mid-thirties, I started in my young twenties) but I definitely consider her a dear friend as well as mentor and employer! </p> <p>Other than her, no. I don't know many other moms, but I'm getting more involved.
