Every day before school and before dinner it was one of my chores. We did it all by hand, no machinery to help us out. Then I walked uphill to school, both ways, barefoot ;) I do miss a lot about that lifestyle, it was really fun. Now when it is time to pump, I usually crack jokes about heading to the milking parlor. We live in an area with a lot of farms. Haha this reminds me- Earlier today one of my pre-k students was playing with a toy cow and she was asking what the "little bumps" on the tummy were for. I explained that they were for feeding the baby cows. Then she took a horse (which had a BIG bump between its legs...) and asked if that for feeding baby horses...
