I usually just go in and take a sleeping picture. She is a light sleeper so I don't want to face the aftermath of disturbing her sleep. We did this all the time during the early newborn days though, up until 5-6 months old. I could pick her up while asleep, kiss her and hold her in my arms, and put her back down in the crib and she would sleep through it all. But M is such a heavy sleeper, she would sleep through almost anything. I go into her room every night and kiss her cheeks a million times, hold her hand, and just love on her lol.
