I sent her a message a few weeks ago asking what she wanted. She then responds in a group with all of us (her, my siblings, me) telling us we are not allowed to get her anything and when she sees each of us next we can do dinner. :silly: we sent her flowers anyway and I'll get her a small gift for when I see her next week. </p> <p>I can't imagine her sending me an unsolicited text demanding a light fixture. But she is the best so I would get t for her. But in this case it seems so weird!! So, since then we had been just sending a birthday card. Personally, I do not do much for an adults birthday, because um, we are adults and I think a well thought out card with note inside is a nice gesture. Or flowers for close friends/family. </p>
