No issues with the power adaptor, but I did have to replace the battery twice. First time, it was covered under warranty and the second time it was not. Last time the same thing happened to me and I didn't have the extended care. I also thought they were too expensive so I bought a non-apple brand to replace it. Can't remember, but I googled my way to it. Like Mrs. Blue, the next thing to go was my battery, and by that point my machine was so old I just kept it plugged in.
