We live in a townhome development w lots of young families.. When we had a summer infant monitor, we saw up to 3 different babies!! It is a known issue... I dont really know the technicalities of it but i believe since the monitors use radio frequency waves, you may pick up on others' signals. We just made sure to turn the monitor off when we werent using it.. Not sure how exciting it is to watch another persons lo sleeping. Our summer infant monitor ended up crapping out on us so we got a motorola one..
