It was very nice and comfortable but I felt like I was staying at Grandma's house. I felt like I needed to be quiet and go to bed at a reasonable hour so we could be up and ready early enough for breakfast. We did stay at a little cottage last year, set up like a B&B but with breakfast brought to the cottage and no elbow rubbing with strangers. It was so nice. It's a tad different than most b&b though in that its not actually someone's "home" & there are multiple houses on the property with the main house being only for breakfast (the only meal they serve). It was a novelty, the rooms were prettier, breakfasts were delicious, and you meet other travellers. But, you are staying in someone's house, so I kinda felt like an intruder, and breakfasts are at a set time, so you can't sleep till noon. It's fun, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a weekend.
