Once, when she was around 6 or 7 months. She was crawling around and I turned around for a few minutes to talk to someone and she found something on the floor and choked on it... It wasn't too bad but she kept making gagging noises and wouldn't eat or drink anything so we took her in. Not long after we got her all x-rayed and everything, it finally moved along and was fine. We never found out what it was.

She's 4 weeks old and has been twice :(
Once when her umbilical cord was trying to pop off (it was still connected by some tissue in the middle and it was oozing puss and blood... not good). And just this past weekend I tried to fit her into her pediatrician Friday for thrush but they told me to just take her to the ER to get the antibiotics because they didn't have any other appointments.

Yes, once when she hit her head and vomited shortly afterwards. She also had the stomach flu at the time so the vomit was more than likely just from the flu but we didn't want to take any chances.

Charlie has been to the emergency room twice. Once when he hit his head hard and wouldn't stop crying (very uncharacteristic of him), and another when he dislocated his elbow (nursemaid's elbow). Charlie's head was fine, and his elbow popped itself back in after a couple of hours, though he's had nursemaid's elbow a couple of times since.

Have you ever been to the er with your LO?
