I teach college and I have never brought him to a class. When we were nursing daddy would bring him up to nurse when I had all day meetings. I have also brought him up to my office to do some things. For instance, my inbox filled up on a Thursday so I had to run back to clear it out. I gave him my phone and let him watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She was about 5 weeks old and dozed against my shoulder. Last week DH and I both had to work on our Tuesday off, but he had to be off right before I started at a different store, so I took baby with me and clocked in when he picked her up. She was acutally really good. Napped in her stroller and pretty much just hung out on mom's lap. I went to a meeting and my boss was watching her but she was hungry and made in her diaper so I had to excuse myself and tend to her. It was nice since everyone in my dept took turns taking care of her but in all honesty nothing got done by the whole dept. :) we all took a 2 hour lunch and played with her. Neither my husband nor I can take any time off work right now and my boss suggested I bring her in to work if she is feeling better since we have to wait the 24 hour rule for fevers at daycare. Have you ever taken your lo to work with you? How much work did you actually get done? :)
