I had an appointment tonight and defrosted a bag of milk! DH gave it to her in the Zoli cup and she drank all of it! I consulted Kelly Mom and it says up to 12 months in a separate freezer and that's basically where all our BM is stored. Quite possibly one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, even though she wouldn't take à bottle anyway. I stopped pumping regularly months ago. She is almost 11 months and I still have the very first bags of milk (including colostrum!) frozen in our second fridge. They all just sit there. Never used. Since most are over 6 months now, I don't even think I can donate. Have you ever thrown away your BM freezer stash? I just don't know what to do with it. * I have tried mixing even fresh BM with cereal, and LO just doesn't go for it.
