When I was working in daycare (potty training room!), we would try to plop out the poop if it was solidish... but liquid probably would be either thrown away or bagged up. It wouldn't be easy to get that in the toilet! If it is a solid piece I do dump it out and wash but on multiple occasions (maybe 4-5 with 3 different families, I don't pitch dozens!) they were just not worth salvaging. I guess it smelled bad because her teacher put the undies (and log) in a bag and put it outside. It was 103 degrees yesterday so it wasn't a pretty sight or smell for me at pickup time! :-( I wanted to throw away the undies sooo bad but LO is obsessed with the bear print...grandma bought them in Japan so I can't replace easily. </p>
