My LO likes it and gets excited when she gets to sleep in it. She's been in a toddler bed since 15 months so no issues with rolling out. She seems to sleep as solidly in this as her regular bed. He was about 27 months at the time and slept in a crib at home. He did surprisingly well. He didn't try to get out when it was bedtime and slept all night. He did get himself out of bed in the morning. Ha, my LO would so roll off the bottom. I get a kick out of seeing her move all over the place in her crib via the video monitor. DH is a big germaphobe, so I don't think he'll go for using a hotel crib without a full cleaning effort. Also, the one place we're staying at is a rented house, so I think it comes with a PnP but that will be much harder to clean. She is still in a crib so it was her first out-of-crib experience. She went to sleep fine on it, which surprised me a lot, but then tossed and turned and cried all night long and rolled off of it twice to the side, then when we barricaded it with pillows she managed to roll off the bottom?? She might just be a super talented non-sleeper, but I wonder if it wasn't comfortable enough. And the side walls of it can just be rolled over really easily - we really needed it to be stiffer. But I'm sure it works for a lot of people! I'm just still bitter over a lost night of sleep. We wished we had just brought the pack n play.
