The only thing that was even slightly "difficult" was we didn't have a WHOLE lot to talk about once we got home- we worked in an office of about 15 people so we both knew what had heppened with the other throughout the day. I imagine when I'm a SAHM I'll work for him again and help him generate more business. My husband and I used to play World of Warcraft together quite frequently and were in the same guild. I was the Guild Leader and he was the Raid Leader. We fought ALL THE TIME. So I quit playing, and our married life drastically improved! We were in parallel positions in a small department (so, working closely together, sharing a supervisor). We work really well together. I ended up leaving that position for a different opportunity about 9 months after we started dating, but a big reason i was sad to do it, was because I knew I would miss working with him. I still do miss it, although my opportunity was worth it for other reasons. He was in management and broke the rules and we had to date "secretly." It went well because we didn't work together 1 on 1 and we were just getting to know each other. DH and I have plans of opening a small business together on the side; but I don't think either of us would enjoy working together in the Corporate world. It's my husbands business and I just sort of help out. It's not in my field, but it's sort of fun. It's nice to have a flexible schedule and spend lots of time together. He's had a couple of projects here, and it was more awkward than anything. It's funny because if anything I was harder on him than most people. DH and I were both in the same squadron. We never worked in the same Dept. Well at first we did but I barely knew him then. Then once I got out and started working for the Navy as a civilian, I got a job where we would be sharing an office. LOL the ONLY civilian that works in this particular office. Once I started working, not long after his command switched him to a different dept. However, that lasted a year and now he works in my dept again but picked a different office to work out of but still works with me. We both work in the technology dept, but we do different things so we don't actually work with each other very often. When we do, it's hard for me to remember that we're in a professional environment, instead of talking to him like I do at home. I actually enjoy working at the same company with him - there are a lot of perks.
