I also made this numbers game, I wrote numbers from 1-20 on popsicle sticks. She gets to holdthem, throw them on the floor, and then I ask her to find me numbers. She loved it! I just keep adding the oil and mixing until it is the consistency I want. Keeps indefinitely as long as its airtight. My DS also loves playing with water - I just fill up the baby bath tub, add a bit of washing up liquid and give him a whisk to make bubbles and lots of cups etc. for pouring. He leans over from the side and makes a big mess but clean up is a joy when the 'mess' is soapy water! When the weather isn't great on weekends, we try to do something fun inside. We have a bunch of locking containers we store under our daughter's play table with colored rice, slime and sand in them. She also has containers with animals to play with in these things and some sorting tins/buttons of various colors. I'm always looking for new fun things to give her to play with. Side note - any good play dough recipes that don't need to be refrigerated (homemade)?
