@SleepyMonkey: The little buttons are called lingerie straps or lingerie loops.

Just that this morning I got to the gym, unpacked all my stuff into a locker, including my purse, iPhone, jacket, car keys... then promptly attached my padlock to the next locker over that was empty. I finished my workout and discovered my stupid locker was just open all morning and the empty one was locked tight. Derp derp!

hahah, my DUH moment was pretty similar to yours. the first time i put LO in the stroller, the wheels must have been locked but i didnt know it, and i was pushing it and just thought that the stroller freaking sucked! it made horrible turns and i looked like an idiot lifting it up and turning it each time i had to turn a corner. omg. ftm fail!

I took A to the movies with another HB mum and I was complaining that I couldn't fit A on my knee in the seat because her legs kind of do the splits... Anyway, she lifted up the chair arm and like magic, all was well. Ha ha, I'm such an idiot, such a simple solution!

@SleepyMonkey: I just figured out this morning that it made more sense to put the flange on my boob first, poke the end of the flange through the hole in the SW bra, THEN attach it to the pump.... I had been jamming the wide flange through the hole still attached to the pump. Duh!

other duh moments...unrelated to baby. i told my mom the other day about how annoying the buttons are that come underneath the shoulder part with sleeveless shirts and she said, that is to hold your bra strap in place. i was completely dumbfounded.

this isn't really duh, but i found it to be really useful and not a lot of people i know knew about it. it applies mostly to newer cars, but when you are in a rental and don't know which side the gas tank is on, look at the gas gauge and the little gas pump icon. whichever side the nozzle/hose is on, is the side the gas tank is on.

yes! i use the simple wishes hands free bra to pump, and i realized that after 3 months of using it, that it would make more sense to use the zipper up the front instead of doing the velcro every single time i took it on and off. duuhhhrrrr

I didn't know that about the wheels (we have one, too, but haven't used it yet!) but I have so many duh moments lately, I really should be supervised. I can't even remember the last dumbass thing I did.

Yesterday we got our new mattress delivered and after they left I noticed that it was too big for the frame. So I called my mom all annoyed because the mattress pad didn't fit and the bed hung off the frame	. So I'm on the phone, have a tape measure trying to get it's dimensions and am all pissed off

then I realized the mattress was on the box spring sideways. The head of it was on the side haha oops

I pushed H around for weeks in the UBV and thought that the wheels kind of sucked when making turns. But I would NEVER admit this to DH bc he picks on me that we (I) had to have the Cadillac of strollers.

Then he pushed it for 5 seconds one day, and immediately reached down and adjusted some lock/gear thingy above the wheels, and now it drives like a dream! Apparently it was just a setting! Never occurred to me!
