We did lose power for a short time during a storm not long ago. But the craziest was during the spring--perfectly calm night and the power went out at 11:30 or so. It turned out that our transformer had blown! </p> <p>The power company was a little confused when we called them to report it but dispatched someone to check it out. Sure enough he needed a line crew to come fix it. I was really pleased by how quickly they had it taken care of all things considered.
