I love my b ready. I haven't used it a a double though. I've seen the city mini and I can't imagine pushing something so tiny around. Both DH and I are tall and love that the BReady fits our stride.

Nope! We've had two different strollers for two kids. The Maclaren Techno XT for DS and a Bugaboo Buffalo for DD. Since the kids were born in different cities, I think we picked the right stroller for our lifestyle in each city.

@matador84: he just turned 4 and no way could we live without a stroller. we walk far and we definitely still need a stroller. last weekend we walked over 5 miles... no way he could handle that. plus both kids nap in the stroller pretty regularly.

also we use it to drop the kids off at school every day. it is much, much faster with a stroller. once he starts kindergarten though, he will walk.

@swedishfish: Thanks, that looks really interesting! The only thing that concerns me is the weight of the stroller - the reviews make the Versa out to be a lot heavier than the Mini. Normally not a big deal, but we've started taking LO on the subway in his stroller, and being able to pick him up in the stroller has been nice. Definitely something to think about though.

Wish I started out with an umbrella stroller from the beginning. I don't like heavy, bulky strollers and prefer using the Uppababy G-Luxe now. With two kids, I'm holding off on getting a double stroller until it's necessary.

@Baby Boy Mom: I have to agree. There's absolutely NO perfect double :( my double bob is smooth but huge and bulky. My city mini double wasn't smooth. My b-ready makes a weird noise every time we use it (like every step I take) which I should call about but it's not as easy to maneuver as my bob, especially with the second seat.

Ehhh. We have the City Select and I like some things about it but it is heavy and very awkward to fold up, plus it's massive as a double (which is why we bought it). I'm glad we got it but I wish is gotten it off Craigslist instead of buying it new...

I wish I had gotten and Uppa Baby GLuxe instead of a Maclaren Quest as our umbrella stroller, but it's not that big of a deal.

I bought most of our strollers used and then sold them so I didn't really lose much (or anything). The City Mini, City Mini Double, Combi Double Sport, Snap and Go have been good to us!

I'm very meh about my City Mini. On the one hand, I love how lightweight it is without being an umbrella stroller, and LOVE the one-handed fold-in-half (and don't know if I could live without that). However, we're not loving the 3 wheels (I think 4 would be easier to maneuver), really wish there was more storage space underneath, and I wish the seat had a choice of facing out or facing me. I haven't found a great alternative though.

@ShootingStar: Hahaha!! My DH is like that!! When he went back to work when LO was 3 weeks old, it was the first time I had ever pushed the pushchair!!

We had had the opposite to @sarac: . We bought a bulky travel system and the pushchair bit takes up the entire car boot! It's not heavy to push - and has loads of storage - but we are currently shopping around for a little lightweight buggy (umbrella stroller). I'm glad we will also have the big one though - we will keep it in the loft and bring it out if we need it!

Kind of. We bought one that converts from a lying down pram to a seated position. Turns out it's so much easier to use the Ergo, so we should have just bought a sitting up pushchair when we needed it.

I was thinking I did. Not for the fact of not liking my stroller - I love it but I didn't get near as much use out of it as I thought I would; I babywear way more. I do believe it will be used a lot more when we have two, or when my LO is way to heavy to be worn. It is a City Select, for reference and I joke that it's the Cadillac of strollers!

Hugely. I was all into baby wearing and was totally opposed to strollers. Well, I gave myself a back injury carrying my daughter past the strength I already had. Then I bought a lightweight stroller thinking it was 'just for a few months'. Then she didn't walk until 16 months. And even now, at 27 months, she won't walk for two or three miles like I regularly do. So we still end up using it often, except that now I wish it were more comfortable and carried more. So basically I wish it were a real, normal stroller.

We have the double City Select and I've mostly loved it. I'm annoyed by having to install/uninstall the 2nd seat each time I fold it up, but everything else is great. I've really preferred it to the side-by-sides because I can fit through doorways and not have to worry about them batting at each other and stealing one another's toys!

I was having doubts about my uppababy vista- I had been dead set on the bassinet and that's what pushed the vista over the Cruz for me. Then Lo hated the bassinet anyway so I wondered if the narrower Cruz would have been better. THEN we got a foot of snow and the bigger wheels on the vista made me happy with the decision again!
