Or any time people organize to sign up and bring somebody food? If it's the latter, I guess I thought those were universal. It's awesome! I've been a giver and on the receiving end and it is GREAT. The organizer always encourages people not to stay around (due to germs) and simply drop off, so most people do that. But some fellow moms stay to chat for a bit, and some offer to stay and eat together/watch the baby. I think. We used mealbaby but it's an awesome idea. I think if someone sets it up for us again this time I'll try to stagger it out a little more. My moms club also has a requirement that you participate in at least two meal trains a year. I just had one set up for impending LO2 and I'm stoked. I heard of it the first time over a year ago through a mom friend. But otherwise I don't know anyone that's ever been part of one or on the receiving end. Seems popular with MOPS groups??
