I don't usually do too much decor (it's mostly my husband's friends, and they couldn't care less). </p> <p>For food I make a big batch of chili and 2 homemade strombolis. I also make a couple of dips (buffalo chicken dip and spinach dip) and serve with pretzels and tortilla chips. We also usually put out another appetizer of some sort. I only get festive with dessert - I make cake balls in one of the team colors (whichever team I'm rooting for, usually). </p> <p>For beer, we have everyone bring their own. If there are girls coming I'll also buy gummi bears or M&amp;M's (I dont' bother if it's just me and the boys).</p> <p>As far as alcohol I keep that simple too. I'll buy two big bottles of vodka, several different mixers then two kinds of beer - one craft brew and one 'easy drinking' light beer. I am big on dips and bar type food, which is usually pretty easy and cheap. And then some veggies to keep blood vessels from clogging. If you provide all food, you could ask others to bring beer/booze, which is the costlier stuff.
