My MOPS group is great because everyone is SAHM and we do playdates and Facebook group, but for making friends I really like JSL because the women are very diverse. We updated each other when were were pregnant. Almost all of our gatherings for our particular chapter are on the weekends since most of us work. </p> <p>I've also found it really hard to make mom friends as a working mom. So almost 2 years ago. They are now some really great friends of mine. It was so nice having women in the exact same boat as me and we all clicked. There are 10 of us and to be honest, we don't even do much with kids or during the day. They put me in a group according to my child's age. I'm not really in touch with my older child's group anymore because the people I was close to in that one have all moved. My company only has 18 employees and 2 others are women. Most mom groups around here do activities on the weekdays (because working moms don't need groups, apparently). But I found an evening MOPS group last year and ended up meeting some great mom friends through it.
