I would move back to South America in a heartbeat, and our long-range plans have us moving back there someday (husband is Ecuadorian). Every once and a while I cruise job listings to see what would be available :silly: We're thinking 5-10 years from now! If DH really wanted to, I think he could maybe find work in his field in Asia (most likely Hong Kong). We just moved back to the UK from Australia and are now here on a permanent basis. I am so happy to be back in the UK, even though Australia was great as well. The British lifestyle suits us perfectly - especially the history, culture, and travel opportunities. My family is the US and whilst I do miss them, we have absolutely no desire to ever live in the US again, mainly due to social issues. DH is British/Australian and most of his family lives near us, and my family comes to visit quite a bit, so we've got the best of both worlds. We are staying in Europe for sure and I would pick France if the decision were all mine. We're just as close geographically to family now here as we were there. There were so many things I loved about living in the US, but could never live there permanently. The lack of affordable healthcare (even with insurance) and the prevalence of gun violence have me happy to be living in Canada again. I have to admit, though, that I miss Amazon.com.
