In an emergency I'm calling 911 not driving myself. A few blocks from home, I'd just walk and carry them. Driving in a parking lot is one of the scariest places to drive. So so many accidents occur in parking lots. </p> <p>I get it, but I'm way too paranoid. Just this past weekend I needed to nurse DD2 while we were out shopping. I wish I had the link. That stuck with me. Many of the participants thought they could- I mean, 15 MPH! Now that my toddler is way too tall for an infant capsule, I use a special taxi harness for her in taxis. I don't love it but it's better than the alternatives (ergo or regular seatbelt).</p> <p>I guess I understand how some people feel like there's no other choice and just hold their baby in taxis but I get annoyed seeing people do this in private cars, which you see a lot.
