I am not sure I would survive that experience.</p> <p>Thankfully we live in a basement/first floor duplex, so Charlie can't really fall out of a window. But there's a winding staircase between the two floors, and I am constantly obsessively checking the baby-proof gate at the top of the stairs to make sure Charlie or Olive can't get past it!</p> <p>Do you have a second floor to your home, or live in a building in a higher floor? Have you had a chance to secure your windows with child-proof window guards or other techniques? </p>
