He got bored during the trailers and turned around and loudly asked the projectionist to "Please show me planes!" but he did fine during the film, and he's not the type of kid who voluntarily spends any time sitting down. He sat through it entirely. We took him again at 3, he loved it. He still talks about it even now at 4.5. She went with 2 other toddlers around her age and their daddies. They weren't ready for it though - I heard they got restless and bored. He was 2 years old. He can easily sit through an entire movie at home and in the car. So we figured he would do well at a theater. It was also Monsters U and he loves the original so he knew the characters which helped. He has since seen Despicable Me 2, and Planes in the theater. We saw Bugs Life at a screening at a friends house. He loves movies and he sits through 90% of them. However, "Finding Nemo" was on TV last night and for the longest stretch of time, DD was totally into it! She loves all the different sea animals and was super excited. But our local YMCA was having a free movie night, so we checked it out with Charlie and 2 of his friends. </p> <p>He was able to sit through the whole thing! (It was Epic which was a little scary for him, but he still didn't want to leave.). We'll probably go to some more family movie nights similar to this. Another milestone crossed off his list! :)</p> <p>Have you taken your LO to the movies? How old were they? </p>
