I just found out I was pregnant this last Christmas and I started tearing up when I saw the little girls and their pretty dresses! (thanks pregnancy hormones!) We also see a lot of Classical Music concerts and I can't wait to take our LO. I do worry about the LO making noise though. It was adorable when he would ask kids from the audience to beat box on stage! I think he tours with them to every show, but I heard there were other celebs at some other ones in addition to him too, but it's always a surprise at the show. For LOs and parents!! I loved that show. Took my LO when she was almost 3. I have heard of guest star appearances like Snoop Dog at the show in LA but we saw the show in Boston and got some band I hadn't heard of, but they were still good. Would totally recommend that show to families of tots. We also took her to a Nick Jr show at Radio City. She was barely 2 at the time but had fun dancing. I think she was in total disbelief that the characters were live and in person! We also sometimes take her to local neighborhood kiddie concerts especially in the summer. I'd love to take her to the Nutcracker but will probably wait until she's 5 or 6 unless I find a child-friendly show before that. no way could my 4 yr old sit through that yet! But my mom and I always get annoyed if kids are talking throughout the whole thing. I'm ok with a question here or there, but we pay a lot of money for the ballet and want to enjoy it! I don't want my kid to be that annoying kid and ruin someone else's experience. But my favorite part of the nutcracker ...seeing all the cute girls in their pretty Christmas dresses! We were right up front so it was a little scary and she sat in DH's lap the whole time but she enjoyed it. And then afterwards we got her a Foofa hoodie and the YGG boom box that plays their songs so it was a great day for her! @artbee: Ooooh The Nutcracker! DH and I were talking about that. I figured she would enjoy seeing all the animals do tricks. What shows have you seen/want to see with your LO?
