I've been on several vacations involving the beach though. My first trip was when I was in 3rd grade when we went to visit relatives in California. When DH taught 2nd grade, he had students who had never been to the ocean and they lived less than 5 miles from the coast. He taught in a really poor school, but I thought that was so sad!</p> <p>Now, DH and I live about 45 minutes from the beach which is as far as each of us has ever been away from the coast. I was talking to someone a few days ago who said she didn't have a chance to go to the beach until she was in her 30's!</p> <p>Can you tell I'm already ready for some beach weather?! Its cold and rainy here today :( Have you ever touched the ocean?</p> <p>Eeek, can someone move this post, please? :) </p>
