Sometimes when they haven't been willing to take an item back (even for store credit) they have allowed me to exchange for a similar item. They aren't awesome for cash back but they are always willing to do store credit. I don't recall the details but when my first was born I remember I had a hard time returning gifts to BRU even ones that were from my registry and with gift receipts. My mom is willing to buy my old stroller from me, at the same price I'd get for the trade in...then I'll use my 15% BRU coupon and the store credit for the tub and I should get a pretty good deal on the stroller. It was horrible and a decade old but we traded it in bc I was buying a shower gift -new stroller. They didn't inspect it and said just put it over there. It's still ok, just old and a little dirty from being in my parents' shed for the past few years. I'm craving a new stroller for LO and I'm just wondering if anyone has had the experience of trading an old stroller in for the 25% off. Also...I have a pink baby bath tub that I was given to for S. I don't really care that it's pink, but it's probably way more than I need. It's one of those Soothing Spa and Shower tubs. I noticed today that the gift receipt for it is still taped to the box...but it's almost a year old. Would Babies R Us give me any credit for this? I wouldn't mind using it towards the stroller, also.
