We borrowed a swing, bouncy chair, bumbo chair, and bassinet. Plus we already had a dresser that we use for clothes - I just moved it into the closet because the color doesn't match the color of the new crib and change table I am getting. We got the crib for free and I finally admitted to myself that I never liked it and since we just started L sleeping in his room this week, I decided it was time to upgrade!</p> <p>The stroller I am upgrading because I want a bigger basket, I wish someone had told me how important this would be!</p> <p>@looch: same for the sleepers! it's all we used in the beginning! Only we were gifted a ton of sleepers with buttons which we quickly learned we hated to do up 10x a day for diaper changes. So i went to walmart and bought a bunch of zippered ones! Despite researching and listening to friends, and accepting free used gear, I now feel like I was so clueless before having my baby to know what type of gear I would really want!</p> <p>Off the top of my head, these are the things I have changed to fit my needs/wants:<br /> - I am on my third diaper bag (first one was a gift, second I bought early on because it held more stuff but was really ugly)<br /> - I am on my second baby carrier (Bjorn to Becco)<br /> - I also bought a lot more baby clothes recently despite all the gifts because I don't like putting on certain styles for L (due to comfort, ease, and/or style)</p> <p>And I plan to in the next few weeks to:<br /> - upgrade my stroller<br /> - get a new crib (we got a free, used one that I hate) </p>
