Usually there is maybe 10 people in line and it rarely takes me more than 15 minutes. This morning, there was a line out the door (in the cold rain- boo!) and I would guess there were probably 60 people in line before me. It took almost 45 minutes. When my husband went at 10:30, he said the line was still out the door. It feels like a bigger turnout at my polling place than any other election I've seen (and I vote in every single election). I like being able to take my time, look things up if I have questions, and then return it well in advance.</p> <p>My county also has mail-in vote tracking so I can confirm it was received weeks ago by the elections office :)</p> <p>The times I've voted in-person in recent years I go during our early voting window. Unfortunately, the voting judge was an hour late so they weren't able to open until around 6:30. That meant waiting in a line that wouldn't have been there if they were open on time. Super frustrating.
