Last year we put the plastic sheeting on a window and the plastic tape was such a pain to remove in the spring! I had to use a razor blade in some spots and it chipped the paint, it looks awful! </p> <p>This year we used removable caulk on the exterior of the windows, it's really made a difference! Haven't done it yet this year, but this recent cold snap has me motivated to finish the job this weekend.</p> <p>Someone posted a neat tip last year on the boards: they suggested you light a candle and hold it near your windows. When the candle starts to flicker or goes out, that's where you need to weatherproof. It totally worked - gonna try it again this year!</p> <p>Have you weatherproofed your windows this winter? </p>
