My LO is only 22m so she's never done an actual class but I do asanas with her at home. She likes to go into downward dog while yelling "yoga! Yoga!" :silly:

Yes! We signed him up for yoga at school every Thursday. He loves it. I took a yoga class or two when I was in college, and LO's moves are pretty close to what I learned in those classes. It also helps when he's upset and we try "yoga breathing". It helps to calm him down.

We just do it at home with the book Goodnight Yoga. They like practicing the moves, but they are only 2.5 so their attention span and ability to do some of the moves is limited.

Yes! I don't know what kind of program it is--a friend of mine is trained and has led family yoga for a university parents group that I'm involved with and we've gone a couple times--SO fun! It's SUPER low pressure--kids are welcome to follow along or do whatever they want, but the songs are really engaging to the kids, and it's a lot of pretending to be different animals. Towards the end she does breathing exercises and it's amazing how focused lo becomes with them!

Yes; they do yoga several times a week at school. LO loves it! I believe they use the cosmic kids youtube videos and they also have a yoga instructor who comes in every so often as well.

Do they enjoy it? I'm going to start adding some yoga into our routine and want to find some good, kid-friendly programs to try. A friend of mine recommended Cosmic Kids Yoga. They look really good for kids!
