She pretty much tells us when she is ready, and we put her in her crib and walk out. DD2 is always up for a nap LOL She will lay down in the most random places if she has her blankie with her. The only time he puts himself to bed is when he is at Grandma's house! But she keeps him so busy that he is exhausted by the time bedtime rolls around and he asks to go to bed. I've yet to have that experience though lol. She's still In the crib so they just plop her in and off she goes. Yes, I'm bitter about it! She came out a few times last night and we sent her back, telling her to come get us when she was ready to be tucked in. We checked on her around 9pm and she was fast asleep, having tucked herself in. It was adorable....and sad that she didn't need us! Has your child ever put themselves to sleep?
